Starting with Dreamweaver

This is my 2nd assignment on Digital Media, which mostly i will be using Adobe Dreamweaver to create a website.

First of all, i would have to do a banner of my own website

and have an idea of 5 buttons which i should put in my website

1) Biography

2) Gallaries

3) Game

4) Future Plan

5) Favourite Links

with an additional button for convenient, a "Home" button is included.

i would have my website to be look like this

As you all realise, the we cant see the borders of tables that i have created in the Dreamweaver,

this is because

the website border's thickness had been set to 0 at the beginning when i 

Insert > Table > 1 row 1 Column, Border Thickness 0

Presenting E- Wallpaper

A sample E-wallpaper from my final 100% work.

With the theme of Open Day,

i have use horizontal type tool to type OPEN DAY!
and i have made it in arc style so it have a curvy look.

after that as to attract people and to let people know what this E-Wallpaper is suppose to be,
i use blending option, i add some drop shadow, outer glow, both at 75%, and texture to the OPEN DAY!


Next,

for the information of the whole E-Wallpaper

with drop shadow and outer glow to make it look appear in the wallpaper.
both of them are in 75% also.

70% E - Wall Paper

I believe, having MMU logo as header would be much suitable for the E- Wallpaper as i have MMU bee as mascot figure in the E-wallpaper, and FOM is also one of the faculty in MMU.

Having MMU logo from

Instead of taking the white background together with the logo and slogan, i use magic wand tool, to select the whole picture and inverse it to get the logo and slogan.

After that i paste into my E-Wallpaper, i resize it and it become

Adding some 47% of drop shadow, make it look appear on top and have a 3D effect. 

50% E - Wall Paper - additional decoration

A little bit introduction of FOM, which i had some pictures of Lecture Theatre, FOM atrium and FOM cafe picture as attraction in the E-Wallpaper

With three attraction of FOM, had been inserted with blending option
such as Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Inner Glow, so that three of the picture would stand out more than others.

Next, is the big pile of FOM sign board, which i use polygonal lasso tool to cut it from a picture i take.
after that i did some blending option which has some effect of drop shadow, inner shadow, and gradient overlay to have to fit with the MMU Bee.

MMU Bee, after using magic wand, and inverse it, i got it seperated from the black background.
After i paste it on the E-wall paper, i use drop shadow, so it will have a 3D effect and plus it look like standing on top of the floor.


on top of that, i had made the floor look more outward, it is because i had use polygonal lasso to copy the floor from the original background and paste it again, and i can use blending option to make it look 3D

The Making of FOM's Open Day E- Wallpaper

As for the background of whole E-Wallpaper, i choose the main building of FOM itself.

The very first idea of my E-wallpaper is to have the impression of being first in the university and first step in to FOM.






After some reduce the opacity to 65%,
added some drop shadow effect
a 41% opacity of gradient overlay
and shadow highlight,

it turn out to be a faded image, which is much suitable for my background image of my whole E- Wallpaper
